The Delhi police have arrested Utsav Bhasin, a businessman living in the Punjabi Bagh area of North Delhi for causing injury to two people on a motorcycle.
The inquiry revealed that though the school was recognised up to Class VIII by the Education Directorate, it ran unauthorised classes in violation of rule 45(1) of the DSEAR-73, which prohibits opening of new classes without prior approval of competent authority. The enquiry also revealed that Rinki was physically abused by the teacher and Principal of the school due to which she was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of Agrasen Hospital for blood clotting in brain.
In the third accident involving Delhi Metro in the last 10 days, a labourer was killed after he was hit by a steel beam being lifted by a crane at its site in west Delhi on Wednesday, even as Delhi Metro Rail Corporation chief E Sreedharan put the blame on the contractor for the fatal mishap. The incident took place at around 5:45 am at Ashok Park work site in Punjabi Bagh, when the labourer was hit by the beam which was being lifted by the crane.
The duo identified as Arti (55) and Saroj (30) were found near the Punjabi Bagh flyover along the Ring Road with bruises on their hands and faces, police sources said.
